Stu Clark is an internationally acclaimed guitarist with fans around the world of his unique rhythmic arrangements of modern popular music.
He has been playing the guitar from being 6 years of age and over the years has performed on many recordings both as a session player or a solo guitarist and on radio and TV.
He regularly performs in the UK,Europe and the USA.He is fully endorsed by Breedlove Guitar Company USA as a Breedlove Independant Artist. With a large online fan base of both his guitar style and humour, Stu has over a million views of his guitar videos on the internet.
In a recent press interview Stu said:
"Whats important to me is to have fun with music. As a solo instrumental performer its not easy to get your personality across to the listener, whether its to a live audience, through a recording or Youtube video. Thats why my album titles are named the way they are and some of my Youtube videos are played in a way you would not expect. I love placing a melody in a setting you would not expect and I like the idea of people smiling at the end of seeing one of my videos,whether it was because you just heard Bohemian Rhapsody played in a bluegrass style or the William Tell Overture backwards.”
Stu also has a sensitive side to his highly skilled technique and can really pull at your heart strings with his emotional melodic interpretation. He has published 2 Cd's already: "Does not play well with others" recorded in Phoenix Arizona in 2008 and the more recent "Standard Two Armed Man" recorded at Room 12.01. Stu's own recording studio which he runs on a non profit basis in order to help young musicians get their own ideas recorded and out to the wider world. (Room 12.01 is so called because one minute past twelve is the afternoon and as Stu says "I don't do mornings")
The unique way of bringing to both the learned and untrained ear the true virtuosity of the guitar in its rich diversity is another target Stu is celebrating on stage. Viele Saiten e.V. is very happy to have him on board this day and : ... it will be a blast !!!
